“It gives me the chill bumps every time,” says Huntsman Cancer Institute researcher Trudy Oliver with a smile. She’s referring to that moment when science leads to discovery. In an effort to find new treatments, Oliver is investigating biological factors that distinguish different types of lung cancer. Her quest to help patients is fueled by her family’s battles with cancer.
