The Senior Vice President for Health Sciences (SVPHS) Research Unit and the Corporate and Foundation Relations team are providing extra assistance for faculty who are eligible to apply to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Investigator Program.
HHMI is focused on funding basic researchers and physician scientists who catalyze discovery research in basic and biomedical sciences, plant biology, evolutionary biology, biophysics, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, and computational biology. HHMI Investigators receive ~$8M of support over 7 years, including full salary support and other research support, with the possibility of renewal.
