Utahns prefer University of Utah Health for their urgent health care needs, according to City Weekly’s 2019 Best of Utah results.
“The doctors and specialists…have mastery in over 200 medical fields, more than enough to get you patched up and feeling 100 percent again,” wrote City Weekly’s Mikey Saltas when the award was announced.
Best of Utah awards are consumer-based—meaning hundreds of Utahns voted for U of U Health Urgent Care over similar facilities in the Salt Lake Valley and greater region.
“This is a great reflection of the trust our patients have in our providers and clinics,” said Daryl Huggard, administrative director for the Community Physician Group.
The clinics were recognized at a dinner, attended by urgent care provider Holly Ricker (pictured).
Intermountain’s Instacare and Granger Medical took second and third places, respectively.
