HealthInsight is recognizing the clinicians and staff of all 11 community clinics for their commitment to improving performance and promoting patient-centered care.
The HealthInsight Quality Award recognizes outpatient practices for their approach to high-quality, patient-centered care.
An outpatient practice qualifies for the award by achieving high scores on publicly available measures of clinical quality and/or patient experience.
“We are proud of these clinical practices for their outstanding contributions to the patients they serve,” said Juliana Preston, executive director of HealthInsight Utah. “Excellent primary care is the foundation for high-quality health care, and HealthInsight is pleased to recognize these leaders, clinicians and their staffs for this achievement.”

The HealthInsight Quality Award Program was launched in September 2004 to promote transparency in health care. As defined by the Institute of Medicine, a transparent health care system is “accountable to the public, works openly, makes results known, and builds trust through disclosure.” HealthInsight aims to help providers improve health care and help patients become more active and informed participants in their own care.
