Daryl Huggard, administrative director for the Community Physicians Group, is now a fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives—the highest level of distinction in the medical practice management profession.
The fellowship distinction demonstrates expertise in medical practice management, including business operations, financial management, human resources management, information management, organizational governance, patient care systems, quality management and risk management.
As part of the fellow requirements, Huggard also submitted a professional paper on integrating behavioral health into the primary clinic setting—an approach pioneered by the Community Clinics at U of U Health.
The American College of Medical Practice Executives is the certification body for the Medical Group Management Association.
