Research Mentor Training for Fall 2021

Research Mentor Training for Fall 2021 is now open for registration!

Research Mentor Training is a 9-hour, process-based training designed to help research mentors maximize the effectiveness of their mentoring relationships. It does this by providing mentors with an intellectual framework for mentoring, an opportunity to experiment with various mentoring methods, and a forum in which to solve mentoring dilemmas with the help of their peers.

Faculty members who mentor or plan to mentor researchers at the University of Utah are invited to participate in this useful mentorship training. This training will cover themes related to research mentoring relationships and provide useful metrics for measuring the impact and effectiveness of your mentorship. Using a research-based, programmatic approach, Research Mentor Training gives you invaluable tools for assessing, expanding, and maximizing your mentor relationships.
