Beginning April 25th, 2022, U of U Health will be implementing Oncore and Epic Research. Together, the OnCore Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) along with a collection of additional modules and EPIC Research module provide a centralized electronic infrastructure to support researchers and research teams with day-to-day operations and seamlessly manage compliance requirements.
- uTRAC, ERICA, and OnCore will be under maintenance starting 5:00 PM April, 21st 2022
- OnCore, Epic, and ERICA will go live on April, 25th 2022, while uTRAC will be moved to a read-only “status”.
- OnCore and ERICA will be unavailable to users between Thursday, April 21st, (5:00 PM) and the morning of Monday, April 25th.
The below training is required to get access to these systems.
OnCore Training:
- Research Coordinators, and All Other Study Staff – Sign up and attend virtual OnCore Orientation by vising the CRSO Training page. Additional eLearnings will also be required for access to OnCore.
- Principal Investigators – a 30-minute eLearning is available for Principal Investigators. Please reach out to the CRSO team for access to this eLearning crso@hsc.utah.edu.
- When you come to orientation, you’ll be guided towards specialty training by system functionality.
HCI Faculty and Staff - please contact Dalton Wilson (dalton.wilson@hci.utah.edu) and Jessica Moehle (jessica.moehle@hsc.utah.edu) for Oncology-specific OnCore Orientation.
Epic Research Training:
- Research Coordinators – Classroom training begins March 28th. Register for classroom training now by going to the LMS. Here is a Tip Sheet for how to register for a class.
- Principal Investigators – eLearning will be available at the end of March.
- Research Study and Charge Review – eLearning will be available at the end of March.
- Clinical Nursing Staff Nonspecific to Research – A tip sheet will be available for you
