The Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) is seeking grant applications that focus on studying arthritis and related autoimmune diseases including but not limited to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, gout, scleroderma, fibromyalgia, or ankylosing spondylitis
Priority will be given to meritorious applications from newer, M.D. and/or Ph.D. applicants in early stage career development (equivalent to assistant professor and without serving as PI on an NIH R01 award).
Applicants may request up to $100,000 in direct costs only. The project period is one year, with the option to apply for a second year if significant progress is demonstrated. The grant period is June 1 to May 31. Submitted applications will be evaluated by an expert panel of peer reviewers and the award will be announced no later than June 30.
