Here to Stay: the Era of Telehealth

The trend of clinical health care in a patient's home is rapidly expanding. It is more convenient, easier to access, and consumer-centered. As diagnostics continue to improve, patients will be able to do more within their homes. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, only two percent of U of U Health providers had seen patients via telehealth. Now, 90 percent have.

Equitably Distributing COVID-19 Vaccine

As we prepared to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to our patients and providers, we aimed to do it rapidly but also equitably throughout the community we serve. As an institution, it was the first time using a data-driven approach to disparities of care. Today, we have a deeper understanding of our community through data.
