The University of Utah announced its 2023-2024 recipients of the Graduate Research Fellowship. Several health sciences campus graduate students were notably among the awardees.
The University Graduate Research Fellowship (UGRF) is a one-year, non-renewable award. The intent of the GRF is to provide the opportunity for full-time research during the fellow’s academic year.
Recipients of the University Graduate Research Fellowship receive a $24,000 stipend for the regular academic year, have tuition paid through the Graduate Tuition Benefit Program (TBP), along with other benefits.
The health sciences research administration would like to join in celebrating the below fellows who were named among the recipients.
- Tanya Chhibber – Molecular Pharmaceutics
- Teryn Holeman – Population Health Science
- Mitali Tyagi – Neurobiology
- Anke van Roy – Health & Kinesiology
- Amaka Nwagbo – Pharmacology
For those interested, the next GRF application cycle, for AY25, will open in September and close in December 2023.
