Below are frequently asked questions about the fellowship application process.
Q: Do I need to submit any part of my application by postal mail?
A: No, all materials should be submitted via the online NAFCAS application portal. If you have any questions about the Health Sciences Administrative Fellowship and/or the application process, please contact our current fellow, Louise Sécordel, at kaitlyn.staton@hsc.utah.edu.
Q: What are the differences between the Health Sciences Administrative Fellowship, the Hospitals & Clinics Administrative Fellowship, and the Medical Group Administrative Fellowship offered at University of Utah Health?
A: Our administrative fellowships vary in their primary scope of exposure, areas of emphasis, and mentorship. Though there is some overlap, the Health Sciences and Medical Group fellows will be less involved in hospital operations and more involved in strategic and other health science initiatives. All fellows have opportunities to attend hospital and system leadership meetings and to join in similar educational rotations.
For more information on the other two fellowship opportunities offered at U of U Health, visit the following pages: Hospitals & Clinics Administrative Fellowship and Medical Group Administrative Fellowship.
Q: Do you accept international applicants?
A: Yes, but unfortunately we do not sponsor visas.
