Faculty Small Grant Program [link]

University of Utah/Vice President for Research (VPR)

Key Terms/Points: Supports significant research and creative scholarly projects in colleges where extramural funding is difficult to obtain; Provides faculty with grants up to $6,000 for a period of 2years to support scholarly projects and publications

Faculty Grant Writing Support [link]

University of Utah/Vice President for Research (VPR)

Key Terms/Points: Supports faculty who experience significant hardship in meeting their extramural proposal submission goals due to family-care, other personal responsibilities, or unexpected life events. Funds through this competition will be available for grant writing assistance.

COH FY22 VPR Seed Grant Competition [link]

College of Health (COH)/Vice President for Research (VPR)

Key Terms/Points: To support research conducted by faculty in the COH and priority is given to seed grant applications that achieve support preliminary work likely to lead to competitive external funding applications; promote faculty moving into new areas of research or new collaborative efforts; foster interdisciplinary work and catalyze new research collaborations between College of Health faculty and researchers across the University of Utah; and promote rigorous scientific methods appropriate to the research question.

Women's Reproductive Health Research Career Development Program (WRHR) K12 Scholar Program [link]

Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology/NICHD-Funded WRHR K12 Program

Key Terms/Points: The Utah WRHR Program supports a national program of mentored institutional career development awards for junior faculty who have recently completed postgraduate clinical training in obstetrics and gynecology. It is funded by the National Institutes of Health through 2025. The goal of the Utah WRHR Program is to increase the number, and skills, of investigators from the University of Utah Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, via a mentored research and career development experience that will lead to independent scientific careers as principal investigators in the field of women's reproductive health.

AHSE Fellowship [link]

Academy of Health Science Educators (AHSE)
