Utah Women's Health Information Network
The Utah Women's Health Information Network (UWIN) was an interdisciplinary collaborative program between:
- the University of Utah,
- University of Utah Health,
- Center of Excellence in Women's Health partners,
- the Utah Department of Health,
- Association of Community Health Centers (AUCH)
UWIN became a reality in November 2007 with receipt of a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to improve health care for Utah women. The project ran from 2007-2010.
The purpose of the UWIN project was to introduce and evaluate health interventions through community clinic projects to improve health and ultimately create systems change in women's health care in Utah.
