Information for Labs

Cancer is designated as a reportable disease in the state of Utah (Cancer Reporting Rule, R384-100).

Reporting to the Utah Cancer Registry

Laboratories that identify reportable conditions for Utah residents should submit reports about those conditions regularly to the Utah Cancer Registry (UCR).  UCR is working toward 100% electronic reporting.  We will work with each lab to determine the best reporting mechanism.  Contact us at, or telephone 801-581-8407.
