On April 18, 2024, graduates from Health Sciences LEAP (HS LEAP) were honored and celebrated for achieving a significant educational milestone with their friends and families.
The event began with a poster presentation by the third-year Health Sciences LEAP students, followed by a delightful dinner from a local small business. It culminated in a program that featured remarks from LEAP Interim Director Seetha Veeraghanta and a presentation of program certificates to the students from Health Sciences LEAP Instructor Erica Rojas. Professor Rojas provided closing remarks reflecting on the program's impact over the years and congratulating the students on their achievements as they prepare to embark on the next significant chapter of their lives.
Past LEAP graduates have pursued and obtained graduate degrees from various schools within the health sciences campus and have embarked on diverse career paths in numerous fields. Many of these accomplished individuals are aspiring doctors, dentists, researchers, and therapists who are poised to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and communities.
