    PROMISE

    6th ANNUAL

    Stories might address imagined futures, potential pathways, new opportunities, vows, commitments, and moments of growth, as well as journeys that took unexpected detours and relationships that changed.

    Held at Kingsbury Hall

    Part of UtahPresents' 2023-2024 season

    STORYTELLER DETAILS

    Story pitches: submit a short teaser of the main points of your story, no more than 2 minutes long - in the form of audio, video, or word document

    Main story: between 8-10 minutes long

    1st scheduled date:  story pitches due

    2nd scheduled date:  5-6 storytellers chosen from applicants

    Rehearsals/coaching:  after being chosen and before the performance, storytellers are expected to commit to a minimum of 5 hours of rehearsal and coaching which will be scheduled with each storyteller’s availability in mind

    On your own time:  additional time writing, revising, and rehearsing your story

    Stories might address discovery, questioning, the wonderful things that bring you awe or delight, what stops you in your tracks and causes you to reflect, things that make you say, “I wonder.”
