Criteria

Evidence of intellectual curiosity in bioethics and health humanities

Evidence of clinical/classroom teaching effectiveness
- Faculty or staff member of University of Utah
Expectations

Take a leading role in at least one Center event per academic year (teaching, facilitating, other service, etc.)

Frequently participate in Center events

Currently teaching (university level)

Attendance at Center meetings and named speaker events

Frequent participation in Ethics Explored and Literature & Healthcare Discussion events

40 hrs/year (equivalent to 1 week) leading Center events (teaching, facilitating, other service, etc.)

Focus on education - teaching and/or curriculum development

BEFORE APPLYING

- Describe your interest in joining the Center as an affiliate
- Describe the work you've done in bioethics and health humanities and/or what work do you hope to do
- Please tell us about your familiarity with our Center activities
- Eligible to teach at the university level (note: each school has their own specifications)
- List past or current teaching positions at the University (as applicable)
