About Me
Valerie Ahanonu, B.S., is the Senior Program Manager for the Center for Medical Cannabis Research which is focused on expanding the presence of cannabis and cannabinoid-related research throughout the state of Utah.
Valerie completed her BS in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Utah. Valerie then began a 13-year career in pharmaceutical research working in clinical operations and trial management across multiple disciplines of clinical research including hematology, rare disease lymphomas, immunology/virology, and plant medicine therapeutics. Valerie will oversee all administrative aspects of the Center for Medical Cannabis Research.
