About Me
I grew up in Bangalore, India, and I made my way to the United States in 2016 to pursue a master’s degree in biomedical sciences under the mentorship of Dr. Faye Johnson at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Driven by a profound fascination for understanding metastasis and its complex interplay with the tumor microenvironment, I transitioned to Dr. Alana Welm’s lab in 2019 as a PhD candidate. My project is focused on understanding the role of sfRon in driving breast cancer metastasis. Beyond the lab, you'll find me indulging in my love for women’s cricket, or on the hunt for the best hiking spots, coffee shops, and culinary gems in Salt Lake City.
