About Me
Lorelei is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah, majoring in chemistry with an emphasis in biology. Her campus involvement includes being the director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity, as well as a volunteer with TRAILS, an outdoor recreation program for individuals with spinal cord injuries or disease. She also works as a patient care technician for DaVita Kidney Care, providing dialysis treatment for patients suffering from end-stage renal disease. Upon completion of her BS in chemistry, Lorelei plans to attend medical school with an interest in anesthesiology. As a part of the Holmen lab, she hopes to further recognize patterns in melanoma formation and gain a deeper understanding of how chemistry can be used to combat its growth. In her free time, Lorelei enjoys rock climbing, hiking, skiing, soccer, and running, and is training to complete a marathon in the near future.
