About Me
Ethan is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah currently pursuing an honors bachelor’s degree in biology with an emphasis in neuroscience. He is working towards applying to an MD/PhD program and plans to pursue a PhD in either oncology or neurobiology, creating a depth of knowledge that he can use to better treat patients as an oncologist. During his first two years of college, he worked in the Bass lab studying human viral defense pathways. This semester he joined Dr. Holmen’s lab and is studying melanoma brain metastasis. In his spare time, Ethan swims on the University of Utah club swim team and enjoys spending time outdoors.
