About Me
Dusty graduated from the University of Utah in 2016 with a degree in biology. He swam for the University of Utah and continues his love for the sport by coaching both age group and high school swimming. After graduating, Dusty worked at various companies including biomedical and diagnostics startups (XCR Diagnostics and Nomi Health) as well as more established companies like Biofire Diagnostics. In those jobs Dusty acquired experience in everything from reagent manufacturing, processing patient samples and setting up research experiments for clinical studies-as well as running those studies. He joined the Holmen Lab to help further our knowledge of cancer and its pathways by using a multidisciplinary approach. In his free time, Dusty enjoys backpack trips, rock climbing, playing volleyball, and reading.
