About Me
Carl’s background is in research administration, grant writing and development having worked for non-profits and in higher education. He joined the University of Utah from Salt Lake Community College where he was a Sponsored Projects Officer. He is passionate about helping faculty and staff in the grant process. He is excited to bring his skills and experience to the SVPHS Research Unit’s Pre-Award Office. When not doing research administration, Carl enjoys curling and golfing or spending time at the ice rink with his family where his children are competitive figure skaters and ice dancers.
