About Me
Brandon hails from Columbus, Indiana and completed his Bachelors and Masters of Science in Biotechnology from Indiana University. Brandon went on to complete a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science in the lab of Dr. Christin Burd at The Ohio State University. There, he was awarded an NCI F31 fellowship for his project focusing on elucidating the intrinsic differences between NRAS mutants in the context of melanoma. Upon joining the McMahon lab in 2021, Brandon’s research focus shifted to elucidating the role of WNT signaling in disease progression and treatment response in lung cancer. Outside of lab Brandon enjoys golfing, biking, hiking, and cooking.
