The Molecular Diagnostics section offers the following services.
Nucleic Acid Isolation
We perform nucleic acid isolation procedures on archival formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) specimens, including micro-dissection of aniline blue stained sections, scrolls, and punches. Isolation can also be done on fresh or frozen tissue, blood, blood products, and body fluids.
NanoString nCounter
The NanoString platform is a PCR-free method to analyze mRNA, miRNA and CNV of up to 800 targets.
NanoString’s GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler
Capable of generating whole transcriptome and expression profiling for 100s of validated protein targets within distinct, user-defined, regions of interest of FFPE or fresh frozen tissue sections.
BioRad QX200™ AutoDG™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System
The QX200 AutoDG Droplet Digital PCR System provides absolute quantification of target DNA or RNA molecules for EvaGreen and probe-based Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR™) applications.
ZEISS PALM MicroBeam Laser Catapult Microdissection (LCM)
Contact-free specimen isolation and collection.
Roche AVENIO Millisect System
Automated tissue dissection enabling precise and consistent recovery of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue areas of interest for downstream molecular analysis.
