Bench to Bedside $500 Prototyping Fund
Once registered, each B2B team is elligible for up to $500 for development of their device or idea.
These funds are subject to University of Utah acquisition policies, which means they must be spent only for developing your project. The funds expire on competition day, so be sure to use them!
To use these funds, you will purchase the items on your own then submit for reimbursement using the form below. Please note the following:
- University of Utah teams are strongly encouraged to use the Crocker Innovation & Design at CMI lab for prototyping services, including 3D printing. These on-campus resources are made available for B2B teams throughout the competition.
- You cannot pay yourself or any individual team member
- Off the shelf electronics must have written approval before the purchase is made.
- All purchases are subject to approval - when in doubt ask!
- No food.
- Original, itemized receipts must be submitted.
- Only the person who actually purchased the items can submit the reimbursement (Name on credit card = name on reimbursement).
- All reimbursement requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
