Get Involved
Competitors
Undergraduate and Graduate students from all backgrounds can form interdisciplinary-teams to participate in the Bench to Bedside competition. The competition is open to students from any Utah academic institution. Any student who is interested in competing should attend the B2B kick-off and orientation events held in late September.
Interested students do not necessarily need an idea or a team, there will be numerous opportunities for you to meet others and develop ideas as the competition season kicks off. Please click here for the Bench to Bedside Student Registration Guide.
Student Ambassadors
The B2B ambassador program is a unique opportunity to work closely with several different colleges and the community at large in bringing medical devices to market. Ambassadors will gain leadership, marketing, and startup business experience as well as direct access to university healthcare professionals and business/industry experts. Becoming an ambassador for B2B is a great way to get more involved in the B2B program and provides you with future B2B leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities as an ambassador include:
- Attending in-person events to help with setup and organization
- On-campus and digital outreach regarding upcoming events and workshops
- Set-up and organization for Competition Night at the State Capitol Building
- Assisting the Student Leadership team with teams coordination
Ambassadors should expect to spend approximately 1 hour a week on B2B related activities. If you're interested, please fill out click the link below to complete the brief application process.
