Opportunities For Underrepresented Groups

HCI is dedicated to providing opportunities for trainees from underrepresented or disadvantaged groups and to increasing diversity in the cancer research workforce. HCI does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, or gender identity. We currently offer or participate in programs for women and minorities that span the training continuum from high school to junior faculty. Several of our programs are research focused and provide hands-on experience in basic or population-based research. Others offer career development mentoring in grant writing and leadership.
