Division of Hematology Biorepository

The Division of Hematology Biorepository at Huntsman Cancer Institute supports the research community by providing access to samples, resources, and scientific expertise for hematology studies.

We collect plasma, serum, viable mononuclear cells, CD34+ cells, and more from a wide range of myeloid and lymphoid diseases. All samples are highly annotated, with custom clinical annotation available. We can collect fresh samples from your patient population of interest or help you select appropriate frozen samples.

Currently, we manage over 60,000 vials across 40 disease categories, with a focus on myeloma, CLL, CML, CMML, and AML.

We also collaborate with clinical investigators to conduct lab studies that support investigator-initiated clinical trials. Our services include experimental design, budgeting support, and regulatory insight to take your ideas from concept to FDA submission. Correlative studies can also be conducted in parallel with trials.
