The Young lab offers mentorship and training in a broad range of research areas relating to cancer, immunology, genetics, and molecular biology. We are looking for highly-motivated people at various stages of their career to join our dynamic research program, including postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, research associates, and undergraduates.
Postdoctoral Fellows
We are currently looking for a postdoctoral fellow interested in understanding the interaction between anti-tumor immunity and autoimmunity alongside additional environmental changes relating to nutrition, metabolism, and the microbiome. This is an NIH-NCI funded research program. Additionally, we are open to multiple lines of research that encompass an interdisciplinary immunological approach.
Please contact Dr. Young with a cover letter of your research interests, curriculum vitae, and names of three professional references if interested in research opportunities in the lab.
Graduate Students
Multiple programs are available to enter the lab as a graduate student, including through rotations via the Microbiology and Immunology graduate program, the Molecular Biology program, and the MD-PhD program. Please contact Dr. Young directly to discuss rotation opportunities.
Undergraduate Researchers
We encourage and support undergraduate lab experiences, including honors and UROP projects. Please contact Dr. Young directly to discuss your research interests and potential time commitments.
