Dr. VanBrocklin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah, an Investigator at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, a member of the Cell Response and Regulation Program, and a member of the Melanoma Disease Center. Dr. VanBrocklin leads a cancer focused lab that develops agents that enhance immune mediated antitumor activity.The VanBrocklin lab has three major areas of focus: (1) oncolytic virotherapy, (2) investigating novel immune checkpoint ligands and receptors, and (3) developing/advancing single vector CRISPR/HDR technology.
