The Cairns lab offers a multidisciplinary training environment that includes biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and genomics.
Our lab includes scientists in several different stages in their career training. We currently have these members:
- research associate (1),
- research assistant professor (1),
- postdoctoral fellows (3),
- graduate students (10),
- lab managers/technicians (2).
The laboratory is exceptionally well equipped and is housed in the state-of-the-art Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). HCI and the University of Utah community include a large number of labs interested in transcription and chromatin regulation.
Who Are We Recruiting?
We are looking for focused, highly motivated people with a keen interest in chromatin biology. An appreciation for mountain biking, hiking, or skiing is also highly encouraged!
