Join Our Lab

The Holmen lab offers a multidisciplinary training environment that includes biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and in vivo models. The lab comprises scientists in several different stages of their career training including research associates, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, lab technicians, lab assistants and undergraduate students. The lab is exceptionally well equipped and is housed in the state-of-the-art Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). We are looking for focused, highly motivated people with an interest in Cancer Biology.  

Postdoctoral fellows: An externally funded postdoctoral fellow position is available. We are particularly interested in the role of mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) in the development of glioblastoma. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. and experience in at least one of the following areas: Cell and molecular biology, signal transduction, tumor biology, metabolism, and/or mouse models. Salary is commensurate with experience. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related field.
