Dr. Kilbride will discuss her funded K01 research titled: Evaluating the beNefits and LImitations of the next generation of DTC genetic TEsting.

Dr. Kilbride is a new Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Utah. Her scholarship addresses the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genetics and genomics, with a focus on direct-to-consumer (DTC) genetic testing. Her current research is supported by a K01 Career Development Award from the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). In addition to her work in ELSI, Madison is also interested in the physician-patient relationship and gatekeeping in medicine
