Updates

Whole Animal Irradiation of Mice and Rats

The Preclinical Cancer Models (PCM) Shared Resource now offers access to the Precision X-Rad320 for whole-animal irradiation of mice and rats. The instrument is managed by PCM and housed within the HCI Research North animal facility. Supported in part by funding from the University of Utah Research Instrumentation Fund, the X-Rad320 expands access to whole-animal irradiation for University researchers. University of Utah users may obtain access by completing required radiation safety training, device-specific training with PCM staff, and animal facility access requirements. For questions about access or irradiation needs, contact PCM
