Paul Stewart Lab
The Stewart Bio-Data Lab is a translational bioinformatics lab at Huntsman Cancer Institute focused on extracting biological and clinical insight from complex molecular data. Our work sits at the interface of cancer biology, data science, and computational method development. We specialize in mass spectrometry-based data analysis, multi-omics integration, and the biological interpretation of high-dimensional datasets. We work closely with experimental and clinical collaborators to develop and apply computational approaches for studying cancer and other diseases through proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics, spatial data, and integrated multi-omics analyses. Our goal is to support discovery and translation by identifying new biomarkers, clarifying disease mechanisms, and helping uncover candidate therapeutic targets. A major area of emphasis in the lab is understanding tertiary lymphoid structures in lung cancer using multi-omics and quantitative computational approaches.
