Advanced Professional Training at HCI

Training in Translational Research at the School of Medicine

One of the guiding principles at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is “the patient first.” To ensure excellence in patient care, HCI offers or participates in a number of training programs focused on translational medicine or clinical care.

HCI hosts eight Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Fellowship and Residency programs. HCI also offers advanced and specialized training to our nurses and advanced practice clinicians. In association with the University of Utah School of Medicine, HCI trainees have a number of opportunities to deepen their skills in translational medicine and clinical investigation.
