About Me
Jessica is pursuing an MS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah. She earned her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in medical device design and materials selection, building a strong technical foundation in product development, engineering analysis, and design optimization.
Jessica has gained industry experience through internships in the medical device sector. As an Engineering Intern at ATL Technology, she contributed to projects spanning a variety of medical devices and supported cross-functional engineering efforts. She later joined Scientia Vascular as an R&D Engineering Intern, where she contributed to the development of minimally invasive neurovascular devices. These experiences strengthened her interest in the intersection of innovation, quality, and regulatory strategy.
Driven by a love for problem-solving and creativity, Jessica is particularly interested in helping innovative technologies progress from concept to clinical impact. Through her fellowship in Regulatory Affairs at the CMI, she hopes to deepen her understanding of medical device regulations, quality systems, and product commercialization while supporting multidisciplinary teams dedicated to improving patient care.
While not studying or working, Jessica will likely be found hiking amongst the trees or playing a game of ultimate frisbee with friends.
