I-Corps 2019 – 2020 Program

The 2019-2020 I Corps Site Program will open this year on October 16, 2019 and conclude on April 1, 2020. The program will be focused on Customer Discovery and Validation, with technology development as required to advance customer demonstration and validation objectives.

The overarching objective of the I-Corps Site Program is to facilitate commercialization of new technologies developed by teams associated with I-Corps Sites. In this initial phase of the Program, the Teams will be asked to define value proposition and use the Program funds primarily for conducting 25-50 documented customer discovery interviews. The outcomes of this introductory overview of selected elements of technology commercialization will prepare the Teams for applying for the next stage NSF program, the $50k Team Award, which provide advanced entrepreneurial and commercialization training for winning teams.
