Symposium Description:

The HRS Satellite Dinner Symposium, Updating and Personalizing New Treatment & Management Options for Atrial Fibrillation, will bring together cardiologists and experts in all sub-specialties to learn about the latest in research and clinical applications for the diagnosis and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation and the next steps in advancing and improving patient care. 

The symposium will be held Thursday, May 5th at 6:30pm at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, Yerba Buena Ballroom, Salon 8. 


1. Identify how ambulatory cardiac monitoring can be useful in preventing anti-coagulation for AF patients.

2. Identify the role of complex fractionated electrograms in management of AF.

3. Identify endpoints of AF ablation procedures.

4. Identify the advantages of staging AF and optimal treatment at each stage.

5. Identify uses of AFIS Database Management System.

6. Identify lessons learned from recent prospective studies of AF.
